Tired Mums Coffee invested in re-branding and new packaging designs, so naturally needed fresh photography to showcase their new range. Laura was keen to create images which captured the homely and relaxing feeling you get when taking time out from a busy day with a beautiful cup of Tired Mums Coffee.
After taking time to understand their goals, and having a lot of fun creating mood boards, Laura provided me with a couple of boxes of her coffee and I took these images in my studio. The collection includes product images (stand alone and as a range), along with a wide selection of lifestyle images to help their target customers relate and to make the products more enticing and desirable.
The photographs were intended for their website, but have also been used extensively across their social media channels, as well as marketing materials including their backdrop at exhibitions and events.
— Some kind words from Laura herself:
“We found Outlands Creative while searching for a photographer to support our rebrand, and the new portfolio of images they created has genuinely transformed how our brand feels and looks. The photos lifted our website and socials instantly – bringing warmth and a touch of luxury that’s helping us stand out in a crowded market.
Working with Outlands felt so easy and natural. They understood our brief from the very start and delivered exactly the style, warmth and luxury feel we were hoping for. The mix of product and lifestyle shots has given us real confidence in how we share our story and present our brand.
We’re truly grateful for the care, creativity and attention to detail Outlands poured into the shoot. They made the whole experience enjoyable, inspiring and exciting – and we honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.” – Laura
A project which has since won an award with Farm Shop and Deli Retailer Awards for Best Online Business 2025!
I was asked to re-design the website for Fordhall Farm Shop to improve the customer experience and bring more farm news to their customers nationwide. As well as a new website design the project needed a whole new library of product images for around 300 items, showcasing the quality of their produce whilst giving that homely, traditional and familiar local butchers feel. We also took product and lifestyle photos of their suppliers produce for the website for consistency. Take a look at their new award-winning website design (and their amazing produce!).
– Some Kind Words from Ben Hollins himself:
“Mel gave us the time required to understand our vision and did her research into our business to get the right look and feel for our designs.
It really is refreshing to work with another company with as much enthusiasm and drive for their business as we have for ours.
We are looking forwards to continuing to work together on more ongoing projects. I’d definitely recommend Mel and Outlands Creative to others!”
I was contracted by South Staffordshire Council to create a Good Food and Drink Guide – eBook and printed. As well as creating the guide design and artwork, I photographed dishes from a number of coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and bars to help showcase the food available in the area. We’re all really proud of the final guide, take a look for yourself!

As the creative force behind the South Staffordshire Good Food & Drink Guide, her professionalism, originality, and eye for detail shine through on every page. Mel brings a rare blend of creative flair and strategic thinking, resulting in a guide that not only looks stunning but truly connects with its audience.
Her unique ideas and thoughtful design elevate the entire experience, and her ability to translate vision into reality is exceptional. Mel is also a fantastic communicator – responsive, conscientious, collaborative, and always a step ahead, providing a world class service to both the client and the business.
